Vodafone Developer Days Greece Wrap Up

Earlier this week the Vodafone developer team travelled to Athens to speak with an engaging crowd of around 60 developers at the Vodafone Dev Days Greece event. And with what seems to be becoming a tradition after the Madrid event, the football theme continued with the event being held at the Olympiacos Football stadium.

After the presentations and demos, we rounded off the day with a hands-on coding session that went on late into the evening. The developers demonstrated their ingenuity and after only a few hours created a number of different Android and widget applications. The apps ranged from Twitter search, Native Android app using YQL app using community tables and geographic information, Geo-loaction with google maps and Weather forecasting. Everyone who developed an app at the event walked away with an Android phone, congrats to you all!
